Job Responsibilities

The editor will be responsible for the delivery of world class relevant content for our readers.
Success will be measured by audience development and engagement. For example, performance metrics for the web will include: unique user, page impressions/users and time spent/users.
The ideal candidates must take charge of three key areas content management.
Audience development and staff management.

Requirements

Relevant journalism experience, with strong analytical, creative organisation and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must possess proficiency in modern, digital journalism.
Experience as a line editor in a mainstream newspaper is an added advantage.
A robust network of news sources is essential, as well as a good presence on social media.

Job Title: NEWS Editor

Job Responsibilities

The news editor will be responsible for the news contents - text and visuals - and shall manage the team of reporters

Requirements

Relevant journalism experience, with strong analytical, news and rich base of source.

The correspondent will based in Abuja and shall report mainly political activities in Federal capital territory particularly the political parties and the three arms zone.
