POSITION : Librarian

Responsibility
The University Librarian is the Head and Officer in charge of the University Library who shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the administration of the University Library and co-ordinate all Library services in the University and its campuses, Colleges, Faculties, Department, Institutes and other teaching or research units.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidate for the Post of the University Librarian must possess a good honours Degree in Library Science from a recognized University and have membership of relevant professional bodies, A higher Degree will be an added advantage.
• Interested candidate should possess at least Fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience with adequate publications in reputable National and International journals.
• He/she must possess adequate leadership experience as well as high degree of competence, integrity and dependability.
• The person must be computer literate.
• Candidates below the rank of Deputy Librarian need not apply.
• The candidate should not exceed 55 years of age on appointment.

POSITION : Bursar

Responsibility

• The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University. He shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the management of the finances of the University.
• Applicants for the post of Bursar must have in the past exhibited considerable degree of competence, responsiveness, demonstrable integrity and transparency on matters of financial resource management. Applicant must be in good health and able to endure the rigours of the duties of the Bursar.
• Also, candidates must be found to possess the following qualities: vision, proven academic distinction, managerial ability, integrity and transparency in private and public life.

POSITION : Registrar

Responsibility

• The Registrar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer of the University. He is also the Secretary to both the Senate and Governing Council.
• The Registrar shall be responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day running of the University.
• The person who will be Registrar. given the complexity and scientific nature of administrative processes of 21st century University, must not only be a goal-getter, but must also be able to show drive, exceptional initiative, great ability for institutional networking with the outside world and must have a suave mien that typifies a 21st century world class university.

Qualification and Experience

• A good Honours Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University and must have a minimum of Fifteen (15) years cognate experience in a university or any other tertiary institutions, out of which Five (5) years must have been spent in a position not less than Deputy Registrar in a tertiary institution.
• The possession of a Higher Degree as well as membership of relevant professional bodies are added advantages. Candidates should not exceed 55 years of age on appointment.

Tenure

• The successful candidate shall be appointed for a single term of five(S) years.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service
The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable for the post of a Registrar in Nigerian Universities and as may be determined by the University Governing Council from time to time.
