Goldpeak International Limited is a Benin City based mid sized brand new Electronics and Household items outfit with food courts attached to its 5 outlets in Benin and Sapele. As a result of growth and future expansion plans, the firm is going through a restucuring exercise which has resulted in the vacancy for  Food Court Supervisor.

The Role: Food Court Supervisor

Responsible for managing a food court staff within a business. Coordinates the sales of food and drinks of goods, sets up displays, and assists customers and staff during business hours.
Summary of job description:

■ Supervises day to day function of all food court employees, facilities, sales, and costs

■ Controls and analyzes, on an ongoing basis, the following: Quality levels of production; Guest satisfaction ;  merchandising and marketing; Operating costs (financials)

■ Ensures optimum performance in each of the above areas

■ Supervises, coordinates and directs the prompt, efficient and courteous serving of food and beverages in the courts.

■ Ensures optimal service is being provided while maximizing profit potential.

■ Establishes and maintains effective employee relations

■ Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained while balancing quality and sales with daily/seasonal staffing demands.

■ Develops formal training program per outlet, as well as an annual training calendar, implements on the job training sessions for the restaurant employees, responsible for meeting training goals.

■ Conducts cleaning inspections on a regular basis to ensure compliance with health and cleanliness standards.

■ Participates in service as necessary in accordance with the requirements and practices of the courts.

■ Ensures grooming and appearance standards are met.

■ Controls stocks for daily use in restaurants to ensure service requirements are met

■ Conducts all administrative work required, including but not limited to:  schedules, cleaning and maintenance logbooks, opening/closing duties, cleaning checklists, tracks and compiles sales statistics per month

■ Must be able to work varying shifts

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:
■ HND /BSC in a relevant degree
■ Minimum of 6 years Food and Beverage and point of sale experience with two as a supervisor.

■ Excellent Communication and organizational skills as well as computer literacy in Microsoft application

■ Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and ability to work well under pressure skills

■ Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment ; Ability to work cohesively as part of a team ; Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times ;

■ Available for shift work including weekends and holidays


Preference would be given to candidates residing in Benin or willing to relocate to Benin.
