Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary
- We are looking for a result driven individual, with ability to drive revenue projections and generation through targeted marketing strategies.
- He/she will be responsible for business operations of X- Academy which include amongst other areas: supporting development and execution of business plans, creating awareness for programmes, meeting revenue targets, and establishing new affiliations & partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Drive business of X-Academy - the learning hub of The Nigerian Exchange, offering specialised courses on Capital Market topics and financial education.
- Work with Head X-Academy in planning t annual training calendar and review contents periodically to ensure alignment of information made available to the public across all platforms (web, brochure).
- Identify and establish relationships with professionals and subject matter experts within and outside the financial services sector to facilitate programmes, for technical support, and programme accreditation.
- Liaise with Vendors, Faculty Members, Departmental Heads, Training Facilitators, and other stakeholders for technical assistance or any other support as required.
- Conduct regular research and liaise with professionals across various industries to ensure best practices are deployed at the X-Academy.
- Develop targeted and strategic marketing plans, proposals and other campaign/awareness materials for all X-Academy services, whilst ensuring a timely and strategic execution.
- Liaise with employees to generate leads for potential clients to subscribe to programmes of the Academy.
- Coordinate design of programmes in collaboration with subject matter experts and content owners.
- Gather and analyse data (feedback and surveys) and other necessary information on pre- and post-learning and prepare analytics for Management reports as well as for further development of revenue generating courses or services.
- Act as a point of contact to vendors and clients, on all administrative and support issues ensuring allissues are addressed in a highly responsive and friendly manner.
- Ensure programmes are consistent with promoting knowledge of the Capital Market in general and the Nigerian Exchange in particular.
- Develop a holistic learning approach that addresses basic knowledge of Capital Market topics and new developments due to evolution in the industry.
Person Specification & Required Qualification(s)
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or other related disciplines.
- Membership of a relevant professional body CIPM, CIPD, NITAD, PMI, SHRM, CMI, etc. is an advantage.
- 7 - 8 years of progressive experience in delivering Learning and Development functions or managing a Corporate Academy (Training School).
- Experience of online learning(elearning& virtual) techniques, with skills in creation creation, delivery, and administration of relevant technology platforms solutions.
- Experience in research, analysis, collection/collation, interpretation and presentation of data; developing standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics.
- Experience in Marketing and Sales
- Knowledge of Learning programme development/management, e.g. curriculum design.
- Knowledge of practical learning & development principles and awareness of current best practices and their implementation; as well as knowledge of external providers of development programmes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment requiring a high degree of flexibility.
