Description
- Our organisation is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly qualified IELTS Instructor to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective IELTS lessons tailored to individual student needs, covering all four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
- Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
- Provide regular feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement
- Prepare and administer practice tests, mock exams, and other assessments to track student progress
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes student participation and collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IELTS exam format, materials, and teaching methodologies
- Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of the IELTS Training Centre
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related field)
- A recognized teaching qualification or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years experience teaching IELTS preparation courses
- In-depth knowledge of the IELTS exam format, assessment criteria, and scoring system
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Desirable:
- A distinct British accent or a native English speaker's accent
- Experience teaching in a multicultural environment
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital resources
- Ability to teach other ESL courses (e.g., General English, Business English, etc.)
- A strong business and enterprise acumen.
