Job Title: CNG Auto Electrician, DCT

Location: Kogi
Job type: Full-time

Description

  • We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNG Auto Electrician to join our team at Dangote Cement Transport.
  • As a CNG Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems of our compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.
  • You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the proper functioning and safety of the CNG vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in CNG vehicles, including wiring, lighting systems, and electronic components.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the electrical systems.
  • Install, test, and maintain CNG-related electrical components, such as fuel injectors and ignition systems.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and resolve electrical problems.
  • Complete documentation of all maintenance and repair work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bsc, HND, OND, SSCE, Trade Test certificate in Auto Electrical or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience as a CNG Auto Electrician or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNG electrical systems and components.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with CNG vehicles is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
