Job Title: Processing Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the maintenance and operations of topside control processing systems on offshore platforms or FPSOs. Ideal candidate has experience in offshore oil and gas, ideally having some exposure to refineries.
  • To besuccessful in this role, the candidate must be able to demonstrate strong analysis and decision making in a process supervisory role and a commitment to the highest standards of safety.
  • Trains, monitors and coaches team members toimprove skill level, to ensure adherence to principles, policies and standards and to improve safety, quality and process reliability in a cost effective manner
  • 10+ years experience in mechanical, electronic and hydraulic relatedexperience in an oilfield equipment environment and successful completion of the FMC Process training course.

Main Tasks

  • Preparation and/or approval of process calculations, simulations and engineering documents
  • Development of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures
  • Advising on best practice safety reviews and HAZOPS
  • Draftingtraining.
  • Assists with training of less experienced process technicians.and/or review of operating procedures
  • Troubleshooting and process improvement
  • Works independently to install new products and conducts repairs of FMC equipment insuring no rig lost time for our customers while controllingexpenses and maintaining assets of FMC.
  • Provides project start-up expertise, to include oversight during first installations.
  • Ensures all equipment, service tooling and spare parts are on location and ready to use andfunction fit prior to beginning each job.
  • Records critical dimensions to ensure assembly will work and obtains or creates product running procedures.
  • Provides “Process Support” as required, for all new projects which includes: attending design review for equipment and tools, reviewing installation procedures, assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests and reviewing project training requirements for service personnel.
  • Maintains communication withCompany Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, function fit and critical dimension measurements.
  • Provides sales support through quality customer interface and keeps customer fully informed ofall aspects of the job. Handles customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Completes Field Non-Conformance Reports (FNCR) forms as product problems are encountered. Assures all equipment and procedural defects are communicatedback to FMC Management.
  • Prepares and submits Field Service Orders and other region required reports after each job is complete. Completes a job report form to communicate procedures, spare parts, critical dimensions and customerquestions and complaints.
  • Understands and follows all FMC and customer safety requirements.
  • Proactively pursues safe work practices, recommends safe work practices/procedures and participates in safety meetings and safety

Requirements

  • Technical School Graduate or related experience. Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • 10+ years experience in mechanical, electronic and hydraulic related experience in an oilfield equipment environment andsuccessful completion of the FMC Process training course.
