Job Title: Ground Cleaning Supervisors, Camp Managers & Housing Managers
Job Location: Lagos
Purpose/Role
- To clean and maintain the Housing Estate and surrounding areas
Key aims and objectives
- Maintaining a clean environment inside the Housing Estate
- Maintaining a clean environment outside the Housing Estate when required
- Cleaning all drainage areas
Prime responsibilities and duties
- Cleaning of all areas of the Housing Estate and surrounding areas and drains
- Garbage removal to the skip area
- Cutting of Grass
- Any other manual tasks set by supervisor
- Report any concerns to Supervisor
- Firm understanding of COSHH
- Defect reporting to Supervisor
- Report for duty on time as per daily shift roster
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene at all times and ensure that you clean as you go, especially at the end of each shift
- · Enforces safety requirements and models safe behavior
- · Demonstrates team building and leadership skills
- · Attends and participates in training activities and attends meetings as required
- · Ensures security of departmental equipment and inventory
- · Ensures Company confidentiality
- · Performs other duties as assigned by the Housing Management

- TO ISSUE AND RECORD ALL TOOLS AND CONSUMABLES FOR THE FABRICATION DEPARTMENT
- ACCONTABLE FOR ALL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT EMPLOYED IN THE DEPARTMENT
- RECORD OF STORE INVENTORY
- GAS HANDLING
Key Aims and Objectives
- ISSUE AND RETURN OF FABRICATION TOOLS AND CONSUMABLES
- SAFE HANDLING OF TOOLS AND CONSUMABLE FOR FABRICATION USE
- SAFE GAS AND OTHER MANUAL HANDLING PROCEDURE
- FOLLOW PROCEDURES AS EXPECTED BY EACH PROJECT
- WAREHOUSE STOREAGE AND INVENTORY ACTIVITIES
Prime Responsibilities and duties
- MANAGE TOOL ROOMS ISSUE AND RETURNS
- ENSURE PROCEDURES ARE FOLLOWED FOR ALL STORAGE ACTIVITIES
- DOCUMENTATION/REPORTING OF ALL ACTIVITES
- SAFETY OF SELF AND WORKERS BEING SERVICED

The Person

- MINIMUM OF OND OR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE (WITH YEARS OF RELEVANT JOB EXPERIENCE)
- ABILITY TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR STORE OPERATIONS
- ABILITY TO READ, WRITE AND IDENTIFY BASIC FABRICATION TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
- WILLINGNESS TO WORK AND COPE WITH MANUAL HANDLING ACTIVITIES
- GOOD TEAM PLAYER
- GOOD COMMUNICATION AND INTER-PERSONAL SKILLS
