Job Title: Logistics Import Analyst
Job Location: Lagos
Purpose/Role:
- This role will establish a new position within the Logistics Administration section, primarily dedicated to Refund’s calculation from shipping service lines, by collation of required documents, processing same, then follow-up to ensure collection of owed moneys from carrier and terminal operators. The role will be for an initial 6 months period, then subject to review and extension if the need for an ongoing presence is validated.
Key aims and objectives:
Identify shipments without 21 free days and Deposit waiver as prime focus.
Identified shipments that are credit-owed outstanding by maritime operators as refund using relevant charges invoices.
Prime Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collate all the shipment details from 2011- 2014 using Finance and Logistics relevant data sources (Sage/Orion; Finance records; Logistics Trackers; Logistics Records; Freight Forwarding/Clearing Doc’s).
- Verify the refund/amount, specific to each shipment/BL for concerned shipping line and terminal operators; carry out documentation auditing and verification for Refund process.
- Collate all original required documents by maritime operators from Freight forwarder/Agent to process Refund Application, avoiding any unnecessary duplication of record keeping.
- Submit refund application(s), follow up and ensure the credit/money is refunded back to Nigerdock, while ensuring reconciliation statement between shipping line and terminal operators is on a proper equation.
- Establish and maintain controls within the Nigerdock process, from identification of discrepancies through to final collection of outstanding sums. Collate all original documents to process Refund application, after verification, submit the application, follow up as day to day to the terminal and shipping line offices in the port and ensure the money is recovered.
- Collate all paid charges to maritime operators and verify rating period for each shipment/container/break bulk categories. Initiate follow up action(s).
- Calculate the due refund as per the invoice rate / date at the time when the shipment was made using the rating period and container return date as received empty in the terminal.

Job Title: Logistics Interface Controller
Job Location: Lagos
Purpose/Role:
- The purpose of this role is smooth and prioritise the day to day transfers of deliveries to tally containers on the island and support Tin-can gate operations by liaising with recipients on SI, and HSE, SIMCo, and marine staff at Tin Can Ferry terminal. In addition, the incumbent will support accountability by tallying containers, and maintaining records covering transfers as instructed
Key aims and objectives:
- To give account of inward and outward container details / storage units monitoring.
- To proactively plan for space, parking and delivery of trucks, cargo and materials and Gate entry
- To facilitate prioritizations by acting with other Nigerdock personnel at Tin Can, to ensure essential loads of materials and equipment are given priority on available ferries.
Prime Responsibilities and Duties:
- Report all HSE concerns promptly, and act to resolve them in a responsible manner.
- Responsible for maintaining the Tally for containers on, into, and outwards for Snake Island.
- To have day to day interfaces with access control teams and adhere himself to safety, security and any control system in place for vehicular ferry.
- To collate, plan for, and prioritise all expected vehicle details for delivery to Nigerdock.
- To continuously monitor the queue of trucks for Ferry Crossing from Tin can gate to snake Island, identifying operationally critical deliveries, and expediting these loads by securing cooperation from other Tin Can teams for earliest possible delivery.
- Will be the contact point for vendors’ drivers to liaise with other teams in Nigerdock for inward and outward transfers and vehicle movements, to and from the Snake Island site.
- To submit daily, weekly and monthly trucks/material details to Logistics Manager, / Supervisors
- Avoiding duplications where possible, record all deliveries to companies on Snake Island. Tally and keep daily update record book / Logs for entry and exit of truck and cargoes carried for Nigerdock.
- Support Tin-can gate operations through cooperation, by troubleshooting on their behalf as needed
- To support other logistics operations on the snake island as required or directed by the Logistics Manager or an assigned supervisor to oversee.
- To ensure that only trucks that conform to vendor qualification with detail LPO are allowed inward Nigerdock.

- The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a constant review of stock, ensuring that resupply orders are initiated in a timely manner, to ensure continuity of supply and services to customer departments, whilst at all times striving to balance these demands with inventory cost management / reductions when possible.

- The incumbent will closely scrutinize stock management and the administration of the same, both in SCM Main Stores, SCM Satellite stores, and at Estate / Camp Stocking Points, and with the Audit Controller to ensure complete stock accuracy and accountability by resolving of periodic direct challenges, and by maintaining an effective plan for Cycle Counting.

Whilst coordinating stock keeping activities, to liaise with other departments to ensure that scheduling of receipts, issues, & administration of stores and stock is carried out reliably in the Company & Client’s interest. In the absence of the Warehouse Manager, to act as his Deputy, in line with operational requirements and company standards & practices.

The Persons:
- Working knowledge of HSE Policies, Procedures and Systems, and proven commitment to delivery of the same
- Minimum of good (High School Equiv. minimum) Formal education or equivalent level, demonstrated through life experience, career training, and work experience.
- Have a wide knowledge and experience of general Warehouse administrative functions and duties, with particular strength where relating to ERP systems use and development, and stock management / husbandry practices.
- Have a min. 5 years senior supervisory / junior management experience in stores operations and administrative functions, preferably in Engineering or an ‘Oil & Gas’ background. Exceptions may be allowed where particular abilities are proven which indicate the ability to translate shorter experience into suitable actions.

Purpose/Role:
- To support Fabrication School with plates, pipes and other materials needed for the delivery of practical Fabrication Training
- To collaborate with the Fitting Instructors team with the day to day supervision/ monitoring of the Fitter trainees
- Key aims and objectives:
- To cut and dispense plates/pipes needed for training to trainees during their practical training
- To support the instructor in sourcing for gas when needed for training purpose.
