Karamat Limited is an indigenous company established in 1989. Our activities are spanned in the area of information management, human resources and procurement in the oil and gas sector.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title:   Construction Superintendent & Project Quality Engineer

Job Location: Rivers

Experience and Qualifications

  • SPA Level 2 competency requirements
  • Experience dealing with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working on onshore oil and gas projects, with thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with oil and gas development
  • Proven track record of delivering projects in remote, hostile locations
  • Direct experience with management of HSSE & SP risks
  • Good communication skills and attitude for taking initiatives are essential, as is the ability to work in and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experienced professional (minimum 15 yrs experience) in design and construction projects.
  • Proven track record of managing Construction and Commissioning activities and working with EPC Contractors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in HSE management
  • Experience in application of project assurance practices such as technical assurance controls, project health-checks, Flawless Project Delivery, benchmarking (IPA)
  • Experience working with HSE management standards and guidelines, contract holder management requirements and general regulatory regimes including familiarity with Classification schemes
  • Experience in the application of industry standards (API, AWS, etc) and international standards (SOLAS, etc.), ISO 9001, ISO 29001 and familiar with ISO 14001
  • Experience as a qualified Lead Quality Auditor is preferred
