Job Title: General Manager (Management/Marketing)
Job Location: Lagos
Job Descriptions
- The Manager will be responsible for executing strategies to drive our Online Platform in Nigeria. Experience is essential with a proven track record of growing a digital business.
- The Manager will be responsible for the day to day operation of the websites working with the marketing team to drive traffic and sales.
- You will report to the Board of Directors and also work closely with all stake holders to develop the platform in order to meet the necessary business requirements to achieve success.
Specific Role and Experience
Management Role:
- Develop business forecasts and be accountable for all KPI's.
- Serve as the single point of overall accountability for T2C
- Develop and drive a plan for revenue, subscriber and engagement growth
- Hire, manage, and mentor sales and support staff
- Serve as T2C local spokesperson, articulating our story for the press and new customers
- Build, manage and maintain key customer relationships and close strategic opportunities
- Represent T2C at key conferences and events
- Develop and manage local partnerships for awareness and growth
- Provide input to the Board of Directors regarding local market requirements/features
- Work closely with the business intelligence team to measure and understand performance
- Work with local PR agencies to build out T2C presence in the press across all media channels and manage the execution of Nigeria's social media strategy in Nigeria
- Lead any other tactics to drive subscriber and revenue growth
Marketing Role:
- Review technologies and explore new developments in the digital landscape to find ways to more effectively acquire new customers
- Build relationships with key partners,
- Work with IT team to help develop the websites to improve the design, usability, content and customer experience
- Work with the Offline Marketing team to help promote and track activities that cross over from offline to online or vice versa
- Work with the marketing Centres of Excellence (e.g. SEO, Mobile, CRM, Social, PPC) to drive acquisition best practice
- Working with our marketing team to produce effective social media and customer communication across the sites.
- Responsible for planning and executing digital marketing campaigns and promotions that deliver customers to our website
General Experience and Requirements

- Strong commercial acumen and ability to apply solid commercial judgment in their area of expertise
- A roll your sleeves up attitude to "get stuff done" to help build a digital business
- The ability to analyze issues, develop solutions and influence key decisions and communicate with key senior stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentational skills
- Drive customer focus in everything we do to gain and retain high quality customers for the long term success of T2C
- A passion for what T2C does, a passion for doing great digital marketing, building products and consumer experiences and interest in Fashion and Entertainment
- Degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline to the level of Bachelors or higher.
Skills:
- Highly analytical with the ability to collate, analyse and present data and drive to clear insights to the business, helping inform marketing decisions
- Understanding of SEO, PPC, mobile marketing, affiliate relationships . Work closely with 3rd party agencies and where necessary source and implement strategies to drive traffic. Areas include SEO, PPC, Affiliate, behavioral, eMail.
- Experience using marketing analytic tools and metrics, such as CPA, visits, unique visits, conversion rates, latency, bounce rates etc. Google Analytics experience a bonus;
- Ability to work with Board of directors and employees below the ladder in a complex environment,
- ensure timely delivery of multiple activities in the digital space
- Ability to effectively communicate and manage relationships with external suppliers, management and partners
- Must be fluent in English
