Wood Group is an international energy services company with around $7bn sales employing about 40,000 people worldwide and operating in more than 50 countries. The Group provides range of engineering, production support, and maintenance management services to the oil & gas, and power generation industries Worldwide.

As a result of forming a new JV engineering operation in Nigeria with Dover Engineering, JWG Nigeria Limited is now looking to employ engineering professionals into our Lagos office in the position below:

Job Title: EPC Operations Director

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The JWGN management team will be responsible for all aspects of setting up and managing a new engineering office based in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • This will include the full roll out and implementation of the Wood Group Management System, the mentoring, training and development of an engineering team, proposal & CTR development, as well as technical integrity and project execution.
  • Candidates will preferable have gained experience in the Brownfield environment during international assignments experience.
  • A managerial background with a proven track record training and mentoring along with an in-depth knowledge of the Wood Groups iMAP system is essential.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree Qualified Engineer and MBA.
  • 12+ years experience in Brownfield O & G engineering environment.
  • Must have a proven track record of successful management and execution of complex projects up to $500m TIC.
  • Vital skills in the following areas: HSE Leadership, Project Management Planning, Budgeting and Cost Management & Project Risk Management
