VACANCY: Business Development Executive

An organization specialized in industrial and commercial security services headquartered in Lagos state is in need of a Business Development Executive (BDE) who always has the mindset of putting the client's needs first, who insists on continuing to learn every day, who thrives in a highly collaborative work environment and who when presented with a challenge, does not quit until he/she finds a solution.
 
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the BDE works to generate new business for a company. They are experienced sales professionals who use their skills and experience to the best advantage of the company. These executives are good at handling multiple clients and have very good customer relations skills. 


A. Essential Functions

•  Making cold calls.
•  Identifying new leads.
•  Promoting products.
•  Performing follow up duties.
•  Managing clients.
•  Attending meetings, training sessions and seminars.
•  Providing feedback to managers. 
•  Researching market trends.

B. Education, Skills and Experience

Minimum educational qualification of a higher national diploma. Educated to Bachelor Degree or MBA level will be an advantage.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Autonomous and result orientated, with a clear determination to succeed.

Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Capable of working effectively and productively with senior team members.

Ability to maintain strong ethical and professional values.

Excellent command of written and spoken English.

The ability to operate in diverse cultural environments.

The ideal candidate should have Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
