 Job Position: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Brief:

The MacTay Group is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a globally renowned medical healthcare provider. The Group is headquartered in the UAE and with its presence of about 25 years in Nigeria operates businesses in manufacturing, distribution, logistics and services industries.

REPORTING TO: CEO

REPORTING INTO: Reporting officers – HOD's of center departments  - Lab Director, Radiology, Customer serrvice, Maintenance, Consultants etc.

LOCATION: Initially Lagos, Nigeria. Can be transferable anywhere in world.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Responsible for quality assurance
  • World class customer service experience
  • Key resource to handle day to day center operations, implement annual plans
  • Delivering agreed results through - coordination of operations & people motivation/training
  •  Ensures statutory compliance with applicable regulations

KEY DELIVERABLES:

1. Operations:

  • Develop lab target & implement as per agreed plan
  • Manage interdepartmental issues & coordination
  • Implement the productivity & growth strategy
  • Develop detailed standard operations processes

2. Quality assurance:

  •  Develop quality strategy
  •  Develop processes and implement  TAT targets
  •  Obtain approval & accreditations

3. Team leadership, administration:

  •  Build second line of leadership
  •  Ensure a comprehensive & professional work processes in all aspects
  •  Manage complaint handling & conflicts in operations
  •  High level of motivation and training

4. Budgeting and planning:

  •  Annual , quarterly & monthly operations targets
  •  Inputs to business strategy

5. Customer service:

a. Make documented process to ensure high level of customer experience

b. Implement 'Patient comes First'

7. Statutory interface:

  •  Develop good relationships with competition, Govt. and statutory/regulatory bodies
  •  Set up and lead the process to periodically review these risks and take appropriate actions

Requirements

  • Age: 30 - 40 years old, but we will not limit the search by this range
  • Any nationality, preferable African
  • Qualifications: Post graduate Medical Doctor. Hospital Management or MBA with profit centre experience of the leading of hospitals/ pathology lab chain (minimum 5 years) is desirable
  • Experience: Previous experience of setting up Laboratory / Diagnostics Centre and developed automation of the laboratory; implement LIMS and PACS interface etc will be an asset. Work experience in Nigeria essential - International exposure will be an added advantage, especially experience in Africa
  • Network: Top-level network in the medical and diagnostics industry and, especially with various equipment suppliers
  • Personal skill set:
    • Excellent presentation and English communication skills
    • Advance IT skills of MS Office, Internet and computer.

Requirements

PERSONAL PROFILE:

  •  Age: 30- 40 years old, but we will not limit the search by this range

  •  Profit centre experience is needed in leading a healthcare facility or division - hospitals/ pathology lab chain (minimum 5 years)

 Job Position: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Description

The MacTay Group is looking to recruit business development executives to work in its Business Growth Department.  The role involves working as part of a young, dynamic and highly talented team. This role requires co-creating and implementation of strategies as well as designing and delivering compelling presentations. Applicants must have a flair for business development, networking and strategy.

Responsibilities: 

  •  Assist in the assessment, design, and development of technical requirements and solutions
  •  Support the development of project proposals; employ data gathering techniques and analysis in order to present proposed solutions to clients
  •  Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  •  Attend networking events and conferences both locally and internationally
  •  Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process
  • The primary focus and objective will be to develop new buying centers in target accounts
  •  Develop leads into opportunities and convert into new accounts

Requirements

The Candidate:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling complex business solutions

• This is a “hunter” role and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques
