Black Pelican Limited is recruiting suitably qualified candidates for immediate employment into the position below:

Position:  Brand Executive

Job Summary

  • To promote the company's Brand and guarantee the achievement of the overall marketing targets of the organization. The Brand Executive plans and executes brand strategies to establish and maintain company presence in the market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to maintain and increase the company's active and effective online presence
  • Carry out market survey and product performance of the product brand
  • Act as key liaison between the organization and company brand consultants
  • Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications
  • Define, evaluate, and prioritize business requirements for new products and change requests to existing products, based on customer feedback, industry trends, research based definition etc.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of competitor and prepare a competitor
  • Responsible for the coordination of periodic sales promotions of brand management, advertising, media plans
  • Plan strategies and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market

Key Result Areas:

  • Prepare and send quarterly newsletter to clients
  • Liaise with suppliers for gifts and Promotional items
  • Ensure up-to-date customer database
  • Build and maintain customer relationship
  • Conduct Market Survey to ascertain brand position in the industry
  • Consistent review of product catalogues and brochures
  • Execute Corporate Social Responsibility projects
  • Sourcing advertising opportunities and promoting brand image

Competencies/Skills Required

  • Very strong written and communication skills
  • Graphic design skills
  • First degree B.Sc in any Social Science or Management Discipline with a minimum of 2.2
  • 3-5 years post NYSC related work experience
  • Excellent brand management & marketing skills
  • Strategy and execution
  • Proficient with the use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
