A law firm with a mission of establishing itself as a leading and world class law and legal services firm in Nigeria is seeking to recruit enterprising individuals to fill immediate openings as part of the firm's on-going growth. Candidates are expected to be based in Abuja and have international work experience and or have worked in an international organisation. Position : Librarian

Job Description
To ensure effective administration and maintenance of the firm's library and intellectual assets; responsible for acquiring & arranging the Firm's information resources/library and restoring the filing system of official documents.
Requirements
Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) with a 2.1 minimum rating
Masters Degree in Library Science or any related discipline
Must be computer literate and conversant with the usage and application of e-library
Experience working in a Law library or legal environment or will be an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years relevant post NYSC experience preferably in a law firm
Aged 35 years and above.
Position : IT Manager

Job Description
To ensure effective administration and maintenance of all Information Technology systems, hardware and
infrastructure; oversee the meeting of the overall technological needs of the firm by designing and implementing strategies to meet them.
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any related discipline
Masters degree in Computer Science or any related discipline will be an added advantage
Relevant professional certifications, e.g., MCSA, CCNA, CISA, PMP or its equivalent
Experience providing service /help desk support and knowledge of finance solutions
Experience working in a law firm or legal environment will be an advantage
Minimum of 7 years relevant post NYSC experience.
Aged 32 years and above
Position : Head of Finance and Accounts

Job Description
To ensure effective management of the firm’s accounting and control function across the firm covering payables, receivables, tax, cost and management accounting; aimed at achieving reliable and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Co-coordinates inter-dependent activities within the accounting function to ensure that the set goals, objectives and business strategy of the firm are achieved.
Provides input to the firm s budgetary process and the allocation of resources to the various activities and projects of the firm.
Prepares and submits in a timely manner, accurate financial reports to management such as accounts receivables and payables aging analysis, reconciliation statements, cash flows etc., and submits same to the Director of Operations for final approval and management decision.
Manages the monthly payroll computation and prepares the schedule for reviews and approvals.
Protects firm’s value by keeping information confidential.
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related discipline
Relevant professional certifications, e.g. CFA, ICAN, ACCA or its equivalent
Experience of statutory financial reporting and knowledge of accounting packages and IFRS
Minimum of 7-10 years relevant post NYSC experience’.
Aged 35 years and above
Position : General Counsel

Job Description
To serve as key legal advisor to the firm on all aspects of the business on major business transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Advises on legal aspects of the firm s financing, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities.
Carries out final reviews of legal advice, drafts and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts.
Counsels the Managing Partner and other senior management with respect to the legal implications of the Firm's major decisions, strategies and transactions.
Serves as a key advisor to the Managing Partner on issues of Firm governance, risk management, Firm growth, policy implementation, internal and external communications relating to sensitive matters, strategic planning, execution, and special projects
Ensures the dissemination of information to all relevant departments within the firm of all legal and regulatory compliance issues affecting the firm
Requirements
Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) with a 2.1 minimum rating
Law School Certificate, 2.1 minimum rating
Masters Degree in Law (LLM)
Minimum of 7 (seven) years experience in a law firm that specializes in both litigation and corporate/commercial law practice
Experience, in Litigation, mediation and other Alternative means of Dispute Resolution Aged 35 years and above.
Position : Director of Operations

Job Description
To oversee the day-to-clay activities of the firm and ensure that the firm’s operational goals are aligned with the overall strategy of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Oversees the creation of departmental strategic initiatives targeted at achieving the overall objectives and strategies of the support team
Provide leadership and oversight to the HR & Admin, IT and Finance functions, for a collaborative team to ensure that initiatives related to non-legal support services are result-oriented and aligned with the firm s mission, beliefs, and strategic goals
Lead and monitor the preparation of budgets, cashflows, final accounts and all other financial matters affecting the firm. Ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance to leading practices.
Lead and support the HR & Admin department, also serving as a member of the recruitment and selection team for management positions
Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of management staff within the areas of responsibility in accordance with the Firm s policies and procedures
Requirements
Minimum of Master's degree in Management or any related field
Relevant certifications in leadership and strategic management
Must possess cognate experience in HR and Finance at, least a total of 5 years with a minimum of 10 years top management experience.
Aged 40 years and above
