Roles and Responsibilities
This job responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
- Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls
- Management of budget in coordination with the Executive Director
- Development of individual programme budgets
- Payroll management including tabulation of accrued employee benefits
- Disbursement of cheques for expenses
- Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organisation’s mission, specifically support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational planning
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance) through improvement to each function, as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions
- Play a significant role in long term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
- Organisation of fiscal documents and regular meetings with the Executive Director around fiscal planning
- Develop and manage annual budget
- Oversee regular assessments and forecasts of the organisation’s financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals
- Oversee short and long term financial and managerial reporting
- Managing day-to-day processing of accounts receivable and payable, and producing reports as requested
- Reconciling monthly activity, generating year-end reports, and fulfilling tax related requirements
- Assisting the Executive Director in creating annual organisational budgets and monitoring cash flow
- Contribute to short and long term organisational planning and strategy as a member of the Management Team.
- Serve as primary liaison in addressing legal issues
- Oversee organisational insurance policies
- Manage all organisational functions
- Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services through improvements to each function (HR, IT, Finance), as well as coordination and communication between functions
- Drive initiatives in the Management Team and organisationally, that contribute to long term operational excellence
- Providing consulting services on matters related to business structure and growth

- 5 - 7 years of business management experience across a range of business disciplines
- Work experience: 5 - 7 years including supervisory and management experiences of about 2 years.
- Requisite experience in HR frameworks, financial management, marketing and operations
- Financial reporting capabilities, including budgeting and cash flow management
- Minimum of B.Sc. from a reputable university in Business Management, Human Resources or any relevant field
