A & E Petrol Nigeria Limited, a leading company in the Oil and Gas sector, handles the distribution of the full range of oil and gas products, and is also actively involved In oil field maintenance, depot operations & oil servicing activities. 

As a result of its growth and operational expansion, it seeks to recruit suitable candidates Into the position below:

POSITION: Accounts Officer

The Job 
Working with the Senior Accountant, will be responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly cash analysis in coordination with other departments;
  • Preparing monthly reconciliation of all payment vouchers; ensuring that all necessary journals, ledgers and books of account are properly kept;
  • Keeping & updating fixed asset register & undertaking their regular verification;
  • Preparing bank reconciliation statements, among other duties & responsibilities.

The Person

  • The ideal candidate must possess a good Bachelor degree or HND in Accountancy or other business related discipline.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years quality experience in related position.
  • An energy sector experience and knowledge of banking operation as it affects an energy company will be added advantage.
