A reputable company located in Lagos State, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Position: Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA) Coating Inspector
Job Description & Skills Requirements
- Ability to set up Blasting and TSA line for TSA application process.
- Ability to read and understand TSA Coating specification> procedures and interprets it on field.
- Receive records of all items with certified and acceptable NDT results.
- Ability to carry out TSA lab and field quality test and Maintains records of all applicable
- measuring and test equipment are calibrated accordingly.
- Ensure proper selection of Materials for all applicable work items as specified.
- Follow-up all inspection points and maintains records for quality Surface preparation finishing, painting and the repair activities including prefabrication work. Clamps, and report accordingly.
- Ensures conformity of work specifications for the TSA are maintained.
- Conducts the necessary and applicable test and maintains the records in conformity with client requirements.
- Maintain Traceability records and appropriate Tagging and storage of all blasted and coated fabricated existing structures.
- Maintain daily site dairy of your activities and make reports accordingly.
- Attend to any other works that may be assigned from time to time.
- Prepares and issues Non-conformance report and follows up with the verification for implementation of corrective action.
- Ensures that blasting and SA Coating are conducted in an acceptable work environment and condition)
- Maintains records of all applicable measuring and test equipment and are calibrated accordingly.
- Witness atl Surface Preparations including blasting, brushing and TSA process.
- Ensure proper selection of TSA for alt applicable work items.
- Follow-up alt inspection points and maintains records for Surface Finishing and TSA and the repair activities including installed work, Clamps and other structures and report accordingly.
- Ensures conformity to contractors specifications for the works are maintained.
- Carry out visual and non-destructive checks, Thickness, Bond Tests as specified.
- Keeping daily records of activities perform
- Reporting to an appropriate office.
