POSITION : Northern Regional Manager
Job Description/ Other Necessary Information
Responsible to oversee day-to-day office management tasks, ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to within the region.
Sending of daily report of activities of the entire region to the Managing Director.
To manage, measure, review and take corrective action in order to ensure that inbound & outbound service quality meets customer requirements and company standards.
Manage a team of people and it will be your responsibility to ensure all training needs are met and that performance is monitored and feedback provided at regular intervals.
Prepare, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation as required.
Meet monthly target for the region.
Responsible for implementing quality management and other regulatory compliance strategies in line with company policy.
To manage and ensure strict compliance of security procedures and regulations for Road and Air operations.
To manage and control costs whilst ensuring that operational service standards are continuously met in order to achieve budgets.
Knowledge, Skills and Competency
5 to 10 years work experience to work in a job in operations management together with a sound understanding of the international/domestic courier industry.
Must have worked in the north and knows the terrain very well.
Strong organizational skills together with the ability to multi-task are essential.
Must be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, design, testing and implementation relating to operations management.
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, together with strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Must be able to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.
Must have excellent written and numeracy skills.
Must have competent IT skills and be aware and able to operate industry standard software used in Operations Management within the Courier industry.
Candidate will work in Abuja and cover Kaduna, Kano, Jos, Minna and Makurdi.
Qualification/Experience
HND/B.Sc in Business Administration or in other related field.
Professional qualification in Logistics or courier management
Remuneration
50,000 - 60,000
