POSITION : Java Developer

Job Description

  • Participating in Use case design of functional requirements.
  • Participating in designing and refining algorithms to cater for efficiency or robustness as the business case demands.
  • Leading Software Development on new projects.
  • Leading Software Development on existing projects (software maintenance).
  • Collaborating with other team members in the software development process.
  • Ensuring that the Quality of Service (QoS) metrics for any development endeavor is sustained.
  • Participating in Business Analysis and Defining the Design Considerations for every software endeavor.

Required Technologies for the role:

  • Software Development: Java/JavaEE Version 8 and Above.
  • DBMS: Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, e.c.
  • Application Servers: Glassfish, Weblogic, JBoss.
  • Operation Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows Servers.
  • Android and/or IOS Development - added advantage.

Requirements
We are in need of a Java Developer with the following qualifications:

  • B.Sc. Degree (or Equivalent) in Computer Science (or Related Disciplines)
  • 4 to 5 Years of Active Software Development Experience on The Java/JavaEE Platform.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills.
