MasterMindsHRSG Management Consulting - Our client, a leading Design & Engineering company with specialization in Telecommunications, Power & Technology Infrastructure Products, Manufacturing & global Supply, to fill the position below:
POSITION : Project Coordinator, Audit and Survey - Electrical Works
Job Description
- Plans and designs the work schedule (site survey, site supervision and site handover) in order to meet target dates
- Directs the sub-contractors and coordinates all their electrical work activities on his/her sites
- Coordinates with the Client’s Site Representative(s) to ensure an efficient roll-out of the sites’ work
- Coordinates efforts with all sections of the company (Logistics & Procurement, Quality Control, HR & Administration and Accounts) as per the company internal procedures
- Ensures that all electrical works being executed under his/her supervision conform with the Client’s specifications, the BOQ and the approved drawings
- Ensures that all contract-related electrical activities are in accordance with the engineering standards and specifications
- Ensures that all electrical materials, tools and equipment are in accordance with the engineering standards and specifications
- Reports all progress and troubleshooting at sites on daily basis to the Project Supervisor using the company's reporting formats
- Hands over completed sites to the Client after signing all clients’ acceptance documents on site.
OH&S/QMS Role and Responsibilities
- Ensures the implementation of OH&S/QMS requirements on all assigned cell sites.
- Fills all related OH&S/QMS documents on sites.
- Conducts site safety induction by explaining to subcontractors their responsibilities in terms of OH&S requirements of the company and clients.
- Ensures that adequate PPE is used by both the comapany's and Subcontractor team
- Ensures that safe work procedures are being adhered to
- Investigates and fills the incident investigation report and shares it with the OH&S representative.
- Ensures emergency drills are conducted on sites.
- Deals directly with the client’s representative on all OH&S matters on sites.
- Reports on any hazard, incident, and accident to the direct supervisor of all assigned sites.
Qualification Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in similar field, preferably electrical works.
Educational Requirement
- B.Sc. in Electrical/Civil Engineering.
