POSITION : Community Growth Manager

Job Information
We are currently looking for a Community Growth Manager who is creative and highly driven to spread the GoMyWay ride-share gospel and accelerate the growth of the community across Nigeria. If you’re young, hardworking, smart, competitive and with some experience in marketing, this role is for you!

Responsibilities

  • Work with leadership to identify key areas for growth and establish growth strategies.
  • Propose, plan and experiment with creative new approaches to capture potentials and accelerate user activity and growth
  • Develop and oversee offline and online campaigns.
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to create and implement exciting marketing campaigns to grow the community
  • Create and discover new channels to grow GoMyWay’s user base.

Requirements
An ideal candidates will be/have:

  • 1-3 years online and/or offline marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO and Adwords.
  • Good understanding of both online and offline marketing mechanics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in Microsoft office, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Highly collaborative but comfortable in driving direction on your own with little or no direction
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

 

POSITION : Web Developer (GoMyWay)

Job Information
We are currently looking for a full-time web developer, who is young, dedicated, and can hit the ground running; to join the GoMyWay team in developing new features and improving existing functions on the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Write ‘clean’, well-commented codes
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality.

Requirements
An Ideal Candidate will be/have:

  • Proficient in basic PHP, HTML, CSS, and adequate knowledge about Javascript.
  • Proficient and adequately knowledgeable about Jquery framework (javascript), Bootstrap framework (CSS), and any PHP framework (MVC structure based)
  • Adequate knowledge on git and version control
  • Adequate knowledge on online servers, local servers and publishing to servers
  • At least two (2) robust PHP based live projects
  • Write ‘clean’, well-commented codes
  • A fast learner and time conscious
  • Be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Up to date with advances in computer technology at all times
  • Self-motivated and ability to think through and develop positive user experiences.

 

POSITION : Communications Intern

Job Information
We are currently looking for a communications intern - a young, motivated and creative person, with key communication skills, to write creative copies, articles for blog, and work with the social and community managers in laying out new ideas and implementing new strategies on how to effectively engage the community.

Responsibilities

  • Write interesting and related blog posts regularly.
  • Write copy for use by web development team, as well as email promotions.
  • Assist with the implementation of the strategic development plan for communications, including newsletters. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
  • Publish and manage content on Instagram.
  • Initiate strategies to improve engagement and conversion on the Instagram account.

Requirements
An ideal candidates will be/have:

  • Interested applicant must be a third or fourth year undergraduate student, a youth corps member or a fresh undergraduate with little work experience but motivated and with an open attitude to learning and growing.
  • Great Interpersonal relation and collaboration skills Smart, intuitive and inventive.
  • Social media and web-savvy, especially Instagram.
  • Creative and detail oriented.
  • Articulate, with very good verbal and writing skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft office proficiency.
  • Ability to write intelligent creative copy.
