Centre for Community Development and Research Network (CCDRN) is a registered Non-governmental organization (NGO) in Nigeria with its head office in Kaduna. CCDRN partners with communities, government, philanthropists and donors to provide sustainable community development services in the areas of conflict resolution, peace building, economic empowerment, agriculture, health, education as well as governance. CCDRN seeks to recruit the services of qualified personnel to fill its vacant position in Kaduna State office
We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the vacancies below:
Position: Senior Programme Officer (Technical)
Location: Kaduna (1 position)
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other program team to ensure effective program design, implementation and monitoring.
- Coordinate with operation and partners to ensure resources availability for effective and timely program implementation.
- Liaise with community groups, associations and other stakeholders to identify potential donors and partners for CCDNR.
- Work with programme team to develop project proposal.
- Support the implementation of program activities in the states level
- Lead in the development of work plans, reporting and monitoring and evaluation
- Participate in and coordinate monitoring and evaluation of activities for the project as needed
- Work collaboratively with finance team to prepare and track the progress of project and activity budgets
- Oversee technical assistance needed to execute project work plans, which may include external consultants
- Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting of program activities and results to the donor/funder.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the Programme Officers
- Serve as a focal point for the project, coordinating and liaising between partners and CCDRN.
Position Requirements:
- A minimum of a university degree or HND in any Science or Social Science course
- Ability to design and implement programme
- Strong computer skills
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Fluency in both written and oral English, and fluency in local languages
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an NGO environment
- Demonstrated skills in the technical side of program implementation.
- Experience in the development of strategic and tactical plans in cooperation with others who represent a wide range of interests and needs.
- Strong change management, results oriented and decision making skills.
- Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination. Aware of and sensitive to working in multiple socio-economic settings and with multi-cultural groups.
- Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadline and intense pressure to perform.
- Willingness to travel to travel to any part of the country
