POSITION : Graphic Designer

 Description

• We are currently seeking a Graphic designer to create compelling designs for our online platforms and offline projects.
• The Role will create visual concepts, by using computer software such as photoshop, coreldraw, adobe fireworks etc. to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our audience.

 Responsibilities

• Create concept and design for logos, adverts, souvenirs and brand gifts
• Create all graphics collateral for project web portal and social media sites
• Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layout for printers
• Have Knowledge of Photoshop/Fireworks/Corel Draw
• Support the work of the Web/Media Team in loading and managing the social media sites and websites
• A very good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
• Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with computer proficiency.
• Ability to apply creative and critical thinking throughout the design process.
• Build passion, foster pride and develop positive team work within the organization

Qualifications

• Candidate must posses at least any of OND/HND/Degree or equivalent in any field.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in graphic design.

POSITION : Video Editor

Description

• We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for web broadcasting. Ultimately, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
• The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
• Eligible candidate must be competent in the use of various post production applications like Adobe Premiere Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro X , etc. Good in 3D animation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality video production.
• Lead video creative projects from conception to post production.
• Edit news videos and TV program videos.
• Edit short form, advertising, and documentary style videos.
• Optimize video files for high quality while maintaining a reasonable file size.
• Encode, export, and manage final compositions, digital assets, and project archives.
• Upload videos to YouTube.
• Create Video Ads and promotional materials.
• Provide assistance to Social Media Manager.
• Manage/Monitor convectional news channels and the web.
• Provide video production and photography assistance if needed.

 Skills

• Expert-level user of Adobe Creative Suite with primary focus on After Effects (including working with 3D objects), Premiere, and Photoshop.
• Technical knowledge of edit systems, codecs, and video encoding.
• Conversant with Youtube and other online social media video repositories.
• A proficient visual and typographic aesthetic.
• Strong project management skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Qualification

• An online/offline reel and portfolio of work demonstrating strong visual design skills, storytelling, and advertising experience across a range of brands or industries
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a motion designer and editor preferably within an ad agency, media house or in-house corporate marketing division.

POSITION : Audio / Music Editor

Description

• Cyclofoss is looking for multi-talented Music Editors with strong technical audio editing skills to manage our digital portal.
• We are looking for an all-around music expert with deep knowledge of Nigerian/African/World music trends and genres to join our team.
• We want somebody that lives and breathes music.
• Successful candidates will have strong breadth and depth of knowledge about different genres of popular music. In this position, you will combine your music knowledge with audio/music editing skill to manage our digital database.
• You must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable with technology. You must be able to maintain focus on tasks and deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using audio editing software like Sound Forge or other good editing software applications is required.

 Responsibilities

• Use digital audio software like Sound Forge (or similar audio editing application) for digital audio enhancements, cleanups, cutting, timing etc.
• You will also be responsible for data-entry and maintenance of our audio content metadata database.
• Edit digital audio for web quality, then upload finished product to our database in the format that best satisfies needs.
• Apply independent judgment to review, correct and classify music-related data elements according to established standards and practices.
• Ensure that metadata in new music content adheres to standards.
• Research artists to verify metadata.

Qualifications

• A proven track record in audio/music editing with at least 2 years of applicable experience.
• OND/HND/Degree qualification is required.

 Skills:

• Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, "newsroom-like" collaborative environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and audio production software.
• Good graphic design skill.
• Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multi task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must demonstrate in-depth, working knowledge of industry-standard multimedia production technology, including software and hardware.
• Must demonstrate sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill, and knowledge of current media trends.
• Ensure that album and artist metadata in our digital database are of highest quality.
• Comprehensive and well-rounded knowledge of wide array of popular music and pop culture.
• Ability to review, navigate, and compare vast amounts of textual and imagery information from multiple information sources in a rapid manner.
• Detail-oriented with good judgment, critical thinking, and a strong capacity for spotting trends and/or anomalies.
• Excellent internet research skills.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with large amounts of data.
• High computer literacy (use of keyboard shortcuts, efficient file/folder management, etc.)
• Basic understanding of the current state of the (digital) music business, previous experience with media industry job is required.
