Diamond Development Initiatives (DDI) is a not-for-profit development consulting organization.

POSITION : Program Assistant

Description
Diamond Development Initiatives (DDI) is recruiting in order to Implement the Feed the Future Nigeria Livelihoods Project (North-East expansion). The project which is based in rural communities in Bomo, Yobe and Adamawa States respectively will use a multi-sector approach to provide support to very poor households by growing their agricultural production and productivity through capacity building of producer groups, farming cooperatives and community based volunteers.

Requirements

  • A degree in Crop Production, Agronomy or Agricultural Extension or other related fields.
  • At least 1-2 years of direct involvement in community development work.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of computer, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to communicate in Hausa and/or Gbagyi language will be an added advantage.
