Capricorn Digital Limited is recruiting to fill the vacancy below : 

POSITION : Team Lead, Reconciliation & Settlements

Description 

  • The Team Lead, Reconciliation and Settlement will have the primary responsibility of continuously reconciling company key accounts, so as to proactively identify errors and issues for swift resolution.

Essential Duties 

  • Ensure settlements of service providers are performed daily, weekly, monthly
  • Responsible for cash and bank reconciliations
  • Perform stock reconciliations
  • Perform device income reconciliations
  • Perform merchant deposit reconciliations
  • Perform year-end closing procedures

Qualification and Requirements

  • BA / BSc in Accounting or Finance (2:1 and above)
  • 3-4 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Must be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or advanced stage of professional qualification
  • Good understanding of accounting practices and standards (IFRS)
  • Experience in different account reconciliations
  • Experience in preparation of IFRS financial statements is not required, but will be an advantage

Personal Attributes:

  • High level use of analytic tools especially Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable with other Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Critical thinking and questioning mind-set
  • Good communication skills - oral and writing, especially report writing
