POSITION : Restaurant Manager
Description
Responsible for maintaining accounting records, stock level records etc.
Responsible for coordinating, instructing, training and hiring staff
In charge of managing health and safety standards, food quality standards etc
Ensures food is ready on time and dishing staff are ready
Monitors stock levels and is responsible for purchase of stock
Manages stock to ensure optimum utilization
Manages staff to ensure optimum performance and service delivery
Manages customers feedback and deals with aggrieved customers politely and in a professional manner
Requirements
OND/HND/ B.Sc. in Business Administration or any related field.
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a restaurant.
Basic interest in restaurant management or the hospitality industry.
Skills required:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing is critical
Basic accounting skills
Attention to details
Ability to use a computer is an added advantage
Leadership skills are critical
Managerial skills are critical
Ability to cook is an added advantage
