POSITION : Electrical Engineer
DESCRIPTION
- Make Long Term and Short term plans for the Factory, Estate & Farm to match with Factory operational plans & requirements & SGSE Fields management Plans.
- Plan for all electrical requirements for Factory in order to maintain the factory safe and suitable for operation.
- Formulate an annual budget based on requirement for Factory, Farm and Estate’s electrical requirements.
- Coordinate for Factory Operation, power generation from the factory with regard to irrigation requirements.
- Establish & plan for Spares in advance for all electrical equipment for Factory, Farm & Estate.
- Plan technicians as per the skill requirement for operation & Maintenance of electrical equipment during season and off-season.
- Assess electrical skills requirements and plan training sessions linked to the succession plan
- Ensure all installed electrical equipment at Factory, Farm and Estate are healthy and safe for Operation
- Develop a maintenance program for all electrical installations for Factory, Farm & Estate
The person must:
- Posses hands on experience on ABB AC VF Drives, Siemens AC VF Drives and DC Drives.
- Be competent to work on LV & HV Breakers.
Qualifications
- Five (5) O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English/WAEC at not more than one sitting.
- First degree in Electrical Engineering.
- COREN membership.
Experience:
- 7 years experience in high level engineering job.
- Experience in working in remote regions will be an added advantage.
