IPI PowerTech a member of the IPT PowerTech group of companies is recruiting to fill the position below:

POSITION : Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

Deliver excellence in the supervision or coordination of security services in area of responsibility, ensuring that staff, Assets and Businesses are protected, thereby enabling greater growth, profitability and enhanced customer satisfaction so as to achieve IPI Powertech Nigeria corporate objectives.
Conduct security briefings and security awareness to staff members.
Implement risk management strategy that maximizes personnel safety from violence and the threat of violence in area of responsibility.
Ensure safety of Employees, Business operations, Premises, Information in area of responsibility.
Carry out specific investigations on wrongdoing by staff and criminal activities targeted at the company.
Respond to inquiries, investigate and resolve security related problems.
Participate in the selection of patrol staff, staff training, coaching and mentoring and work with employees to implement discipline procedures and execute tasks according to approved guidelines and procedures.
Maintain a harmonious relationship and contacts with various cadre of various security agencies (Police, Military, SSS, etc.) in area of responsibility so as to gain relevant intelligence information that will ensure better protection for IPI Powertech Nigeria personnel and operations.
Implement security policies and Standard Operating Procedures developed by the company.
Ensure that all incidents are investigated and reported to the Head of security in line with approved procedures.
Prepare analytical and statistical reports on operations and activities.
Monitor performance of staff responsible for security services.
Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
Foster active collaboration and relationships with employees across all levels and divisions.

Requirements

Degree in any related discipline.
Security Certifications (Formal training in Security Supervision/Coordination).
3 years’ experience as Security Supervisor/Coordinator in corporate security environment.
3 years in Military, Police and other paramilitary services.
Willingness to relocate and frequently embark on official travels.
Agile and proactive.
Detail oriented.
