Neem Foundation a non-governmental, peace-building and conflict prevention organisation is recruiting to fill the position below:
POSITION : Administrator
Description
An Administrator is a high level and sensitive position that will be responsible for supporting the organisation in a variety of ways including bookkeeping, communications, scheduling, data entry and secretarial services.
Administrators will oversee operations within the centre that they are placed in, manage groups, coordinate with management and engage in planning according to the needs of their centre.
If there are office resource or administrative issues, Administrators will be expected to deal with them.
Duties
Handling external or internal communication or management systems
Managing clerical or other administrative staff
Organizing, arranging and coordinating meetings
Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post
Management of office equipment
Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment
Education
University Degree in any field. Masters Degree in Administration or Management is an added advantage.
Requirements:
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Ability to lead and train staff
Ability to manage conflict and resolve complaints
Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Knowledge of and experience in project management.
Strong sense of and respect for confidentiality
Ability to work as part of a team; build and manage professional work relationships with stakeholders.
Proficiency in using Micro-soft office package
Language Skills:
English Language (Fluent) and Basic understanding of Hausa language
Others:
Must have strong interest Programme Implementation and Administration; working with children, helping people rebuild their lives and work towards the development of Borno State.
Practical experience working with victims/ survivors of insurgency.
Academic or work experience in Psychology
Experience in managing Human Resources
Hausa speaker
Understanding local Borneo Languages
Language Skills:
English Language (Fluent) and Basic understanding of Hausa language, understanding in other local Borno languages
Others:
Must have strong interest Programme Implementation and Administration; working with children, helping people rebuild their lives and work towards the development of Borno State.
