Cost Breakdown Structure updating according to existing cost estimates and alignment with cost accounting and finance.
Verifying integration and quality of work progress status alignment with cost and assure correct allocation of costs to the right cost elements.
Examining and understanding project scope of work and provide cost engineering input as required, assuring the deployment and implementation of scoping and planning tools (CTRs, CWP, etc) as cost budgeting and control tool.
Assuring integrity of the Cost Engineering tracking process as: actual costs/expenditures, Value-of-Work Done/Actual, Commitments and Forecast final Cost.
Responsible to provide expert guidance on cost engineering and reporting matters on the project
Assure implementation of project procedures and alignment of Project Services Activities to project Level.
Perform quality assurance on the contractor's cost management system, and performance vs. budgets.
Assuring integration of cost estimates for annual forecasts/budget development and updating as well as the coordination of the Company's Business Planning cycle and portfolio management requirements.
Assuring the overall coordination and timely issuing of Reporting means at different levels of the organisation owns.
Maintaining contracts registers highlighting commitment, ceiling, expenditure/actual costs, accruals/value of work done and forecast information.
Requirements
Have Degree in Engineering with minimum of 5 years experience in cost control in the Oil and Gas industry.
