POSITION : Commis (Cook) 

Responsibilities

  • To produce the highest possible food quality in his own section in line with appropriate food portion control and use of recipes.
  • Prepares and properly sets up food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper presentation.
  • Sets up Mise-en-place for own station
  • Prepares basic and main dishes as required in his own section.
  • Refers to station’s file and standard fro all preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes prepared in his station.
  • Sets up lunch and dinner buffet according to Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie’s instructions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE
  •  2-3 years post qualification cognate experience
  • Below 30 years
