POSITION : Packaging Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality and Integrated Systems Management in the Department
- Translate and implement packaging, manufacturing and business strategies
- Manage Financial Performance
- Manage Human Resources by developing employees; ensuring a healthy industrial climate; managing and applying people processes, managing own performance and that of direct reports etc.
- Manage Occupational Health, Safety, Risk And Environment
- Apply Advanced/Systemic Knowledge of the Packaging Plant and Process in the Department
- Lead and Manage Plant, Process, Systems and Service requirements in the Department
- Drive Systemic Performance improvement in the Department
- Lead the Systemic Application of Asset Management in the Process Area
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronic Engineering with Diploma in Packaging (IBD) and/or additional business qualification
- 5 - 6 years’ experience in Packaging line operations management or related field at a senior line management position in a brewery or FMCG with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role
- Good understanding of the principles and practices of Manufacturing Excellence
- Sound computer knowledge
