Deal4Deal Integrated Ltd, a Consultancy, Logistics and Procurment firm based in lagos and incorporated in 2014. Due to expansion and office growth, Deal4Deal is i need of an experienced Accountant.

Position: Accountant

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of Five (5) Years Work Experience as an Accounting Officer in a well structured organization
  2. Proven knowledge of Accounting standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  3. B.Sc or HND in Accounting or Finance from a recognized University or Polytechnic
  4. A certified member of Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria (ICAN)/ACCA is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Keep abreast of relevant accounting regulations and ensure updating of existing processes and procedures
  2. Ensure that staff who need to use financial procedures are aware of them, understand them and correctly apply them
  3. File and archive documents connected to accounting activities.
  4. Execute all accounting transactions and effect necessary reconciliations of outstanding transactions.
  5. Provide monthly updates on budget implementation covering credits and carry forward commitments and payments
  6. Provide advice on the interpretation and implementation of financial procedures.
  7. Participate in the development of financial procedures and model documents, including check list for all essential financial activities.
  8. Disburse cash advance and ensure retirements.
  9. Prepare Management Accounts.
  10. Compile and record revenue statements and reconcile balances.
  11. Prepare and compare books of accounts such as cash book, ledgers etc with bank statements.
  12. And such other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
  13. Ensure filing of monthly VAT Returns with FIRS.
  14. Post financial transactions.
  15. Prepare staff salaries and pay slips and make remittances
  16. Update fixed assets register and as when due.
