POSITION : Gas Platform Operator
Description
We are looking for an experienced candidate that possess vast range of experience in gas plant operations.
Must be familiar with some of the following:
Marine System:
- Approx. 2.3 MM bbls Storage Capacity
- Offloading 1.0 MM bbls approx.. every 4 days
- Ballast Control System
- Mooring System
- Export Pumps
- Hydraulic System
- Four (4) Free Fall Lifeboats
- NavAid Systems (FPSO, Buoy, etc.), includes vessel/Helicopter Traffic Control System
- Sewage & Waste Disposal System
- HVAC Systems
- Galley, Food & laundry Equipment
- Marine Utility Systems
- Helicopter Re-Fueling System
- Emergency Rescue Craft
- Stores and Material handling cranes
Major Equipment:
- Produced Water Re-injection Capability
- Metering System
- Three Gas Dehydration Systems (450MMSCFD)
- Three Turbine Compressors - Each compressor capable of compressing 150 MMSCFD.
- Two Overhead Compressors
- Two Low Pressure Compressors
- Two Vapor Recovery Units
- Three Power Turbine Generators with Waste Heat Recovery Units
- One Diesel Essential Generator
- Two oil processing train with the capability to process 250,000 BOPD. Each Oil Processing Train consists of H.P. Separators, LP. Separator, Treater, Stabilizer Column, Stabilizer Re-boiler and Water Treatment System.
- Well Testing
- Two Fuel Gas Systems
- One Diesel Emergency Generator
- Inert Gas Generator
- Five Water Injection Pumps
- Three Seawater lift Pumps (Cooling & Inj Service)
- Three Strainers (50 micron) and Two Produced Water Strainers
- Three Electric Oil Export Pumps
- Four Diesel Driven Firewater Pumps
- Two 50 Ton Pedestal Cranes
- Two Water De-Salinization Units
- Three Instrument/Utility Air Compressors
- Three Instrument/Utility Air Compressors
- Two Nitrogen Compressors
- DCS system, PLC, Relay and Pneumatic Control & monitoring Equipment
- Sub-sea control system
- Chemical Injection Equipment (platform and subsea wells)
- Cargo System
- Fire and Gas Detection
- Emergency Shutdown System
- Active Fire Protection

Competencies
- Any Engineering is acceptable but must be experienced.
- Basic computer skills
- Good understanding of oil and gas separation, gas dehydration, gas injection, water filtration and deoxygenation, and water injection.
- Any certification is acceptable, none is required.
