Network Arewa24 Limited owners of AREWA24, a Hausa-language, free-to-air satellite television channel. Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the below position
POSITION : Creative Director
Responsibilities
- Review scripts and rehearse with actors/actresses before filming
- Oversee delivery from pre-production to post production
- Manage the creative process from concept to completion
- Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
- Be actively involved in hiring and training of artists
- Add up creative ideas in the directing style of a drama series
- Direct one or two episodes of a drama series per week. This may change in exceptional cases.
- Participate in location, audition and casting finalists
- Come up with budgets to fit the episodes he is directing
Requirements
- Must have Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication
- At least 5 years working experience as a director
- Be focused and have an eye for details
- Have good sense of imagination
- Familiar with different camera's and how to use them
- Be fluent in Hausa and English
- Must be well organized
- Creative and have experience in modern production technologies
- Have good sense of production designs
- Composed and able to work under pressure
- Good communication skills
- Be confident
- Have efficient time management skills
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Work with little or no supervision
