Literamed Publications Nigeria Limited, a leading Children's book publisher is recruiting to fill the position below:

POSITION : Prepress Officer/Graphic Artist

 

Requirements

  • HND, B.Sc in Creative Art or Fine & Applied Art
  • 2 - 3 years of experiences
  • Fresh graduate with NYSC discharge certificate

Responsibilities

  • Color Separation: digital separation of job into four different colors CMYK.
  • Imaging: Transfer of jobs onto plates through the machine called Computer-to-plate system
  • Plate outputting: Inserting plates into the CTP machine for exposure of images and text.
  • Cleaning Unit: Process of washing and gumming the plates.
  • Digital Editing: Screening and adjustment of a continuous tone of images such as photographs and others.
  • Conversion of all images and texts from RGB, Duotone and other color modes to CMYK MODE.
  • Conversion of all jobs to PDF format.
  • Imposition or the combination of many pages into a single signature form.
