Job Title: Solar Site Construction Manager

Scope of work

  • On a 50MW construction site, Site Manager in charge of the overall follow up of the day-to-day activities on site and contractors supervision. Permanent representative of the Company on site and manage the site supervision team.
  • In liaison to the project construction director who is in charge of the contract, schedule & budget.
  • Permanent representative of the Company on site and manage the site supervision team.

Main Missions

  • Implement the Company policy on site.
  • Organize weekly coordination meetings and more generally supervise the way the project is completed.
  • Supervise contractors for Quality, HSE, Documentation and coordination with others.
  • Implement Quality Control Plan and progress follow up.
  • Manage a team of 5 people in charge of the good completion of the project.
  • Issue a weekly report to the Execution Manager with status of Physical Progress, potential Overcost and Contractual issues, HSE.

Qualifications / Background

  • Strong experience in Construction Management (minimum 10 years).
  • Experience in Solar Plants (Design and/or Construction) is necessary.
  • Perfect knowledge of construction and working conditions in Africa.
  • French mandatory.
