Job Title: Filing Officer

Roles & Responsibilities
The Filing Officer will be responsible for:

  • Organizing records such as correspondences, accounting documents, audit and tax files of clients, in- house files etc.
  • Maintaining a filing system which facilitates the locating and retrieval of requested files
  • Preparing document indices, file folders and labels
  • Carrying out other administrative or clerical duties, such as making copies, binding documents, faxing, using a copy machine, managing office equipment etc.

Requirements
Candidates should:

  • Possess at least an OND in Business Admin or Secretarial Studies
  • Have strong organizational skills
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively
  • In addition, the ideal candidate must have had at least 5 years* experience in organizing and maintaining files in a reputable organization, preferably in an audit firm.
