-May issue visitor’s pass when required.
-Directs caller to destination and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon.
-May collect and distribute mail and messages.
-Receives callers at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs callers to destination.
-Obtains caller’s name and arranges for appointment with person called upon.
-May operate PBX telephone console to receive incoming messages.
-May make future appointments and answer inquiries and other duties pertinent to type of establishment.
-May type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Job Requirements
-Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
-Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
-Professional attitude and appearance
-Solid written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
-Excellent organizational skills
-Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
-Customer service attitude
-High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
