Job Description

We are in need of Public Relations Managers with strong creative skill in delivering communications content
The ideal candidate should be an experienced PR professional with demonstrable creative writing skills with ability to write on a variety of subjects for diverse audiences as well as deliver on schedule
As a Creative Content writer within the PR Unit, the candidate should be able to perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented
He/She should be an expert in content optimization and brand message delivery to ensure excellent customer engagement.

Responsibilities

He/she will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining innovative and appealing content to raise brand awareness and affinity to achieve our business goals
Developing content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term corporate/marketing communications strategies
Creating concise and engaging content to optimize leveraging objectives
Editing, proof-reading and improving product and corporate communication materials to ensure brand consistency and appeal
Writing creative and engaging product and brand-focused communication messages for posts in blogs and social media channels to create requisite bond with online market segments.
Stay up-to-date with developments in traditional and online media and generate new ideas to capture the fancy of diverse audiences.

Job Requirements

B.A/B.Sc Degree in Arts, Social Sciences or other relevant fields. Post-graduate Degree or membership of relevant professional bodies will be an advantage
Minimum of three (3) years experience in Public Relations and creative content writing in a reputable organization including the media newspapers, magazines, electronic, blogs, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent grasp of English Language
Creative and innovative thinker and planner
Confident in producing work across multiple media platforms
Ability to align multiple brand communication strategies and ideas
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Outlook) and Google docs
He/She must have wide knowledge of media dynamics, with strong media contact
Ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be a problem-solver.
