Our client is looking to staff a project office for a government empowerment program. Hence, we are looking for a competent and dedicated individual for one year contract position for the role of;
Job Title: Manager, Data Verification and Processing
Job Location: FCT, Abuja (ideal applicants should be resident in Abuja. Applicants who are willing to relocate to Abuja are welcome. However, please note there is no consideration for relocation allowance)
ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Directly reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Directly supervises: Data Verification Analysts
JOB PURPOSE
• To give strategic direction and leadership to all aspects of data verification, registration and documentation process
• To promote the highest standards of business ethos within the data verification and processing function of the program and ensure the most effective use of verification and processing resources in support of the program objectives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AREAS
Management/Administrative Responsibilities
1. Formulate, implement, and enforce proper data collection policies and procedures
2. Establish data quality standards and work with the data verification analysts to ensure standards are met
3. Ensure quality data collection techniques are being followed by enumerator agencies
4. Educate and train data analysts, enumerators and field monitoring teams on proper data collection processes where required
Technical/Professional Responsibilities
1. Ensure the data (whitelist) system is consistently operational with minimal downtime
2. Provide access to data verification analysts to submit data
3. Assist verification analysts with set-up, testing, and implementation of data verification applications
4. Troubleshoot data submission errors and resolve data error issues
5. Ensure that all verification analysts’ updates are properly installed and rolled out
6. Perform and document procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, standardization and analysis
7. Help develop data collection and evaluation methodologies, including format design, project criteria and requirements, data compilation, relevancy and usage.
8. Develop and implement evaluation methodology to determine completeness and adequacy of the data collection procedure.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
• Key deliverables are produced within agreed timeframes to required standards.
• Verification reports are comprehensive and submitted within established timeframe.
MINIMUM REQUIRED JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Academic and Professional:
• First degree (or its equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Public Health, Social Management Science or a related field.
• A Master’s degree and/or Professional Certification would be an added advantage.
Experience:
• Five or more years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory position
• Demonstrable experience of similar work and working in a data capture and customer focused environment

Proposed Salary:
Ranges between N350, 000 - N420, 000 monthly (based on experience) for the one year contract duration.
