We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: STCW Certified Chief Engineer  

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Slot: 10 Openings

Education & Experience

  • STCW 2010 mandatory/required certificates
  • Experience in a diesel electronic engine (desirable)
  • OP maintenance certificate (Optional)
  • High voltage certification
  • At least 2 years work experience in a PSV, AHTS, Tug vessels with towing operations
  • Chief Engineer eater than 3000KW or Unlimited certificate (Reg. 111/2) CoC
  • Experience in a multi purpose built vessels dedicated to subsea operations (optional)
  • Evidence of registration with NIMASA (Reg. number required)

  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to take and give direction
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Proven, verifiable work experience in Marine Company in a same role or something similar

Other Requirements:

  • Languages: Fluent in English
  • Computer knowledge: Should be Comfortable with Microsoft Application and Tools

Remuneration
This is a permanent job with very attractive rotation and remuneration.
