We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Warehouse Operation Supervisor
Locations: Sagamu & Asese, Ogun

Job Function
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in the operations and activities of the District Warehouse; train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Planned, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of stocks and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
- Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
- Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver Products, and supplies stocks; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
- The route, schedule, pack and prepare orders for delivery; load vehicles; schedule and oversee deliveries and pick-ups.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogues as required.
- Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required.
- Operate and demonstrate the use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
- Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers
- Lead, educate and develop new employees.
- Plan daily manpower needs to ensure customers' load is delivered and picked up timely and damage-free.
- Communicate with dispatch at various managers/distributors and coordinate the movement of the shipment
- Recruit, and train loaders/drivers
- Take ownership of vehicle inspections and maintenance on regular bases.
- Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance.
Educaqtion and Experience
- HND or B.Sc. Degree in Logistics, Management, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
- Cautiously optimistic, personable and resolute.
- At least 3 years experience in FMCG.
- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.
- Methods of receiving, inspecting and issuing materials.
- Materials, equipment and supplies used in a school district.
- Operation of a forklift and other assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
- Space utilization and inventory techniques.
- Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.
- Health and safety regulations.
- Record-keeping techniques.
- Inventory methods and practices.
- Principles and practices of training and providing work direction.
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
- Automated warehouse inventory system.
