This position reports to: The Head of Finance and Information Technology

Job Description

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help the organization make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Collect and process large datasets from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and third-party systems.
Use statistical techniques and data analysis tools to analyze and interpret data to uncover insights and trends.
Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to present findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for data analysis and reporting.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions based on data analysis.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by identifying and resolving data quality issues.
Conduct research to identify new data sources and techniques for data analysis.
Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Attributed Skills

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and clustering.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques is a plus.
