Job Description
- We are seeking to hire an Enterprise Operations Manager (EOM), who will work closely with the CEO to scale up operational capabilities across the organization, assess and manage risks, support and guide management decisions about the company’s direction, and drive its business objectives forward.
- This is a newly-created position in the organization. The role will be responsible for all elements of the day-to-day running of the business.
- The company is seeking an exceptional individual of the highest caliber who will be a key player in achieving the growth and continued success trajectory of the organization to manage the day-to-day operations and performance of the organization. This role will have a number of direct reports from across the whole spectrum of roles, including Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Marketing and many more functional units within the organisation.
What You Will Do
- The role will provide leadership and oversight of the organization's operations and performance
- Develop and execute strategies across the different business units to improve the real-time payment experience for customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee the company's and its various international offices' day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with the CEO on the implementation of a long-term strategy.
- Act as a confidant, sounding board, advisor, and sparring partner to the CEO, sharing your complementary skill set to form a well-rounded leadership team to solve the company's most complex and impactful problems.
- Put in place efficient and scalable processes to take the company to its next level, from start-up to scale-up.
- Develop and implement company-wide objectives and key results for performance and growth.
- Create, recommend, and put into action business strategies, plans, and procedures to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
- Give leadership to cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and increase efficiency.
- Implement and manage strategies to reduce risk.
- Lead expansion activities (commercial, partnerships, market entry).
- Work closely on a wider strategy with the rest of the leadership team in identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Lead and manage weekly staff meetings.
- Manage OKRs and annual planning processes.
- Any other duties that may be assigned to the position.
Requirements
- A minimum qualification of an MBA or equivalent relevant experience is required.
- At least 10 years of work experience spanning customer advisory, strategy development, operations or process optimization, and models for financial institutions from any of the Big 4 consulting firms or a technology startup.
- Experience from a regulated industry or a financial technology firm will be a plus.
- Excellent business judgment and the ability to work in a cross-functional role while also thinking strategically and providing practical advice is preferred.
- Must be a confident and analytical leader with a high level of intelligence demonstrated through effective problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask and make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication, listening, writing, and research skills.
- Great organization skills and rapt attention to details.
- Must possess a solid work ethic and outstanding leadership skills.
