Job Title: Head of Administration & Financial Services

Job Description

  • The Head of Administration and Financial Services is responsible for managing the financial and administration activities of a company.
  • This includes revenue generation, providing investment management solutions, financial growth and liquidity, tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.
  • The HAFS ensures all the statutory accounting and reporting functions are fulfilled, manages all financial and administrative services and will provide strategic business guidance to further generate revenue and develop a financially sound organisation.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the HAFS position:

  • Identifies, monitors, evaluates and manages the firm’s financial and non-financial risks in support of the firm’s strategic plan
  • Working with internal and external sources of funding to procure and manage funds for the company
  • Manages the firm’s financial and regulatory obligations in accordance with the rules and regulations governing national and global financial markets
  • Manages the firm’s liquidity, funding, capital and allocation of financial resources to align with the firm’s overall strategy
  • Provides investment management solutions across all major asset classes to diversify and optimize the firm’s financial capabilities
  • Delivers solutions that improves and maximizes the efficiency and productivity of our financial activities
  • Develops and implements strategic business measures to further generate revenue and funding and ensure financial growth
  • Manages the firm’s capital and risk and provides the overall financial control and reporting function
  • Develops, evaluates and executes plans for new businesses and financial growth initiatives and leads strategic transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures
  • Design and implement efficient internal financial reporting and monitoring systems
  • Assesses the firm’s internal control structure,advises management on developing budgetary control solutions and monitors the implementation of these measures
  • Analyzes and supports the activities, operations, reporting obligations and transactions of the firm’s business lines

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior level accounting/finance manager in a real estate or construction company
  • Expert level in the usage of financial software such as but not limited to Sage Accounting, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word Document, PowerPoint), etc.
  • CPA, ACCA or ICAN certified.

  • Be competent in all areas of financial and strategic management and planning and business development
  • Be great at analyzing and interpreting financial data and industry and economic forecasts.
