We are to recruiting fill the position below:

Job Title: Travel Consultant

Location: Lagos
Department / Division Unit: Konga Travels and Tours
Reports to: VP, KTT
Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm

Job Objectives / A Brief Overview of the Role

  • In the travel consultant role, the job holder researches domestic and international places of interest.
  • You will book travel arrangements and develop new customers while maintaining existing ones.
  • Success in this position will be demonstrated by the effective execution of all your responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Book flight and other transportation arrangements as well as lodging and tours
  • Provide information about travel destinations and accommodations to customers
  • Communicate with vendors of travel-related products to get the best deals.
  • Market and sell holiday and other specialized tour packages.
  • The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective to customers - corporate and individual.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential corporate clients to meet their needs.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Create new corporate accounts.
  • Reach out to corporate organizations through coldcalling.
  • Expedite there solution of customer conflicts and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports.
