We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Trade Executive

Location: Lagos

Job Aim

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Executive to join our team at TradeDepot. As a Trade Executive focused on in-store execution in convenience stores, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal product placement, stock availability, and executing customer and consumer-focused promotions.
Your primary goal will be to maximize sales and drive sell-out by effectively restocking shelves, implementing attractive merchandising displays, and deploying gondolas in assigned stores.

Responsibilities
In-store Execution:

Visit assigned convenience stores regularly to ensure accurate shelf restocking, proper merchandising, and effective deployment of gondolas.

Stock Availability:

Monitor inventory levels in stores, replenish stock as needed, and liaise with the store staff to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize out-of-stock situations.

Merchandising:

Implement attractive product displays and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and planograms. Optimize shelf space utilization and arrangement to enhance visibility and drive customer engagement.

Promotional Activities:

Execute customer and consumer-focused promotions to drive sell-out, including setting up promotional displays, arranging point-of-sale materials, and providing product information to customers.

Market Intelligence:

Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences. Share insights and recommendations with the sales and marketing teams to enhance TradeDepot's competitive position.

Training & Product Knowledge:

Stay updated on TradeDepot products, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Conduct training sessions with store staff to increase product knowledge and drive sales.

Sales Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor product sales performance, competitor activities, and market trends. Provide timely and accurate reports on sales activities, challenges, and opportunities.

Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with store managers and staff to ensure TradeDepot products receive priority attention, resolve any issues promptly, and secure favorable shelf placements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry or convenience store sector.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with store staff and customers.
Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure effective store visit scheduling and execution of tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to set targets and deadlines.
The detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
Proficiency in using technology tools such as smartphones, tablets, and sales applications for reporting and communication.
